STORMWATER, SORTED AT JANNALI

The brief

The Jannali High School's stormwater system was underperforming — drainage deficiencies affecting walkways, building surrounds and grounds. SINSW engaged All Day Building under a limited tender to rectify the infrastructure to NCC 2022, inside a live secondary school.

What we did

Rectification and upgrade across the campus: excavation along building lines, renewal of failed pipework with new uPVC mains, new collection pits and junction boxes, grated channel drains cast into walkways, subsoil drainage runs along problem boundaries, and full surface reinstatement. Excavation near occupied classrooms was sequenced with the school timetable, with exclusion zones, daily sign-ins and inductions for every person on site.

The outcome

Hydraulic performance restored: water that used to sheet across walkways and pond against buildings now enters a compliant, maintainable system. Walkways stay dry, slip risk drops — a limited-tender engagement delivered in full.

“Renewed pipework, new pits and channel drains — and walkways that stay dry when it rains.”
