The brief
Meadowbank Public School's oval had become a liability: persistent waterlogging, erosion eating the surface, and weeks each term when the space was unusable. The school needed a permanent drainage solution delivered around a live primary campus.
What we did
Installation of a comprehensive stormwater and subsoil drainage system: a grid of subsoil lines feeding collector pipes and new pits, connected to upgraded stormwater infrastructure; regrading to designed falls; and full surface reinstatement including new concrete perimeter pathways. The site ran as a fenced, separated work zone with deliveries and excavation programmed around school hours.
The outcome
Surface water now has somewhere to go. The oval drains instead of ponding, the erosion cycle is broken, and maintenance risk drops — durable infrastructure under fresh turf the school never has to think about again. Fully returfed and back in play.
